Cristy Parsons is the visionary force behind Caring Life Pathways. With over 15 years of leadership experience and 8 years of clinical practice, she brings a rare combination of strategic insight, therapeutic expertise, and deep compassion to her role as Director and Lead Trainer.
An AASW-accredited Clinical Social Worker, Cristy holds a Bachelor of Social Work with Honours from the University of Queensland and is currently completing postgraduate studies in Adult and Child/Adolescent Mental Health. Her professional journey includes managing trauma-informed programs for youth with complex needs, crisis counselling for veterans, and delivering mental health support across diverse community settings.
Cristy leads the design and delivery of our trauma-informed training and mentoring programs, providing supervision and guidance to practitioners at every stage of their journey. Her leadership is grounded in the belief that empowered professionals create empowered communities. Through her work, she has built more than a service—she has created a movement where practitioners are equipped, inspired, and supported to thrive.

Carol Thomas is a calm, capable, and deeply committed leader who brings over eight years of experience in child protection, mental health, and disability services to her role as South Queensland Operations Lead. She is known for her ability to foster trust, build strong teams, and guide practitioners with clarity and compassion.
Carol’s expertise spans residential care, intensive therapeutic programs, and semi-independent living (SIL) environments, where she has supported individuals of all ages with complex needs. Her leadership is grounded in trauma-informed, person-centered practice and a strong belief in the power of collaboration and continuous growth.
At Caring Life Pathways, Carol plays a key role in mentoring practitioners through the Independent Practitioner Success Program. She provides operational support, practical guidance, and a steady presence—ensuring every practitioner feels confident, capable, and connected as they build their independent practice.

Cameron MacIntosh is a highly respected leader and clinician with over a decade of experience in the child and youth sector. As North Queensland Operations Lead, he brings deep expertise in child and adolescent mental health, crisis response, and behaviour support to the Caring Life Pathways team.
An AASW-accredited Social Worker and Behaviour Support Practitioner, Cameron is trained in CBT and DBT and has worked extensively in post-crisis recovery and complex behavioural support. He currently supports practitioners across regional and remote communities, offering supervision, mentoring, and training that is both clinically sound and deeply human.
Cameron’s leadership is rooted in integrity, empathy, and a commitment to helping others grow. He ensures that every practitioner he supports feels empowered to deliver high-quality, trauma-informed care—no matter how complex the environment.

Tiarna Jackson is a passionate advocate and skilled social worker who leads with empathy, insight, and a strong sense of purpose. As Advocacy and Support Services Lead, she brings seven years of experience in the child and youth sector, along with ongoing involvement in aged homecare operations—giving her a unique, whole-of-life perspective.
Tiarna’s expertise includes trauma-informed care, staffing systems, policy development, and inclusive practice. She supports practitioners with advocacy guidance, ethical decision-making, and service design that reflects the values of dignity, respect, and empowerment.
At Caring Life Pathways, Tiarna is a trusted mentor and guide. Her leadership ensures that every practitioner feels heard, supported, and equipped to make a meaningful impact—not just in their work, but in the lives of those they serve.
